New Cyberpunk 2077 Update Fixxes Corrupted Disc Message for PS4 Players after 1.5 Patch
On its release back in 2020 Cyberpunk 2077 did not have the best start we could have imagined. The wide range of bugs and performance issues made it difficult for CD Projekt to maintain its status as AAA publisher. Something we were used to when they spoiled us with The Witcher franchise.
Almost 2 years after launch a new update is released for Cyberpunk 2077 addressing issues for PS4 players. Players who play the game will be shown an error message by the system with the message that their game is corrupted and cannot be played from the disc. This happened right after the release of their latest 1.5 patch. This update was meant to optimize the game for its introduction to next-gen consoles.
Players are asked to update the PS4 system update as soon as possible so they can enjoy the game again. “There’s a software update for PS4 live now. It addresses the issue with the disc version of Cyberpunk 2077 not launching on PS4 after installing the latest game patch. Please make sure to update your system.”.
