Nintendo released the 2.0.0 update for their Switch Online App. This app allows players to use voice chat during online play and acts as an “extra hub” for game-specific content.
The full patch notes for the Nintendo Switch Online app version 2.0.0 update are as follows:
・ The app’s overall design has been updated.
・ You can now see which of your friends are online.
・ You can change your online-status settings.
・ You can view your friend code.
・ Other minor changes have also been implemented.
Especially the feature that your friends’ online status is visible is a welcome addition.
The Nintendo Switch Online app is available on mobile via iOS and Android, and the 2.0.0 update is live on both platforms now.
